Children & Youth
Sunday mornings are family-friendly. It’s fine if young ones need playdough or move around! During part of the service, kids groups meet for under 5s and 5-11s to learn from the Bible in a creative way and play games.
Me and Mine
This is our term time Parent & Toddler group. There’s time for play, songs and a Bible story. All with refreshments for parents too – come along!
This runs termly for primary school aged kids and their families. We have a special theme, do fun-filled crafts, have a fun kids’ talk about Jesus and eat some great food together!
(Tuesdays, 3.30-4.15pm, Chelsea Academy)
Grounded is a discussion group based in Chelsea Academy. We explore the big questions of life and look at how Jesus Christ makes a real difference.
Chelsea Academy Youth Club
(Wednesdays in term time, 2.30-3.30pm, St John’s Church)
A safe place for students after school to have fun.
Youth Group (Thursdays, 6.15-8pm, St John’s)
For anyone aged 11-18. We start with dinner all together. Then we spend some time studying a passage from the Bible, and seeing what difference it makes for us today. We finish with a seriously fun game time.
We take issues of child protection very seriously at St John’s. All our clubs and activities are overseen by people who have been fully trained in safeguarding and DBS checked. Follow these links to see a copy of our child protection policy and data protection policy.
